A Word From Our Students

I met George at my first TTC in 2013. I had a strong feeling that I had more to learn from him so decided to do my second TTC with George last year. George is an incredibly warm and gracious teacher. He is super skilled at delivering yoga philosophy and values in a way that is accessible and relevant to now. He lives what he teaches, so you get a true sense he is the real deal and doing the work – daily. His physicality, strength and execution of asana is just beautiful.

He is a movement artist.

I’ve been practicing Yoga for over 20 years, and have had 40+ teachers.  George is still one of my absolute favorite teachers.  He’s extremely diverse, and shares a deep knowledge and grounded practice.  As an inspiring yoga teacher, or a deep-diving practitioner, I personally recommend George on the top of my list, as an inspiring, and knowledgeable teacher with an amazing balance of power, and groundedness.

George is both playful, and disciplined, and a great example of living the yogic life, while being on this earth as a fellow human.

When I look for a teacher in anything, I look for a teacher who has embodied the practice into their life, in a way that has enhanced their being, sharing wisdom beyond the practice, to inspire and lead others.  Learn from him, the chance is super valuable!  Thanks George for all you share with me and the community, always!!!

I just finished a 29 day course with George Anthony and I can’t even express how transformative this experience was for me and my colleagues. It is rare to meet such a genuine person who, in his own words, “has no expectations of you but only the highest hopes and dreams for you.”

The changes I’ve felt go beyond the physical asana of yoga and have encompassed my emotions, thoughts and actions in nearly everything I do. I feel peaceful and present. Grateful and content. Calm and energized. Patient and reflective. We were challenged to be more open to perspectives and not assume what is true for us is true for others. With this practice has come an even stronger feeling of compassion. This community of growth came from many open minds and hearts who were immersed in the spirit of understanding.

I would gladly speak to any questions one might have about this course. Know that I have zero reservations about recommending it and hope you go for it if you’re able.

‘Thank you’ couldn’t possibly cut it, but George isn’t looking for recognition anyway– it is just part of his nature to share his joy with others.

When I was looking for a Yoga TTC, this offering seemed to be a complete and professional course. It surprised me, because it was much more than that. The stay was amazing. Delicious and healthy food, clean and comfortable areas, nice and private yoga studio… 5 stars to The Yoga House. The energy of the group was strong, and the flow was continuous. There was harmony, love, and empathy among us all. The experiences that I lived pushed my limits and challenged me to find harmony and balance in the middle of the chaos, while doing a difficult asana, or while holding my breath. It was a genuine transformation. Less looking on the outside and more focus on the inside, where all the knowledge resides, opened the doors to an infinite world: the now. Compassion, discipline, letting go, are just a few of the things that I learned are the foundations for balance and harmony. The classes were intense yet gentle. I mastered listening to myself, knowing when to go further or when to rest. The teacher, besides being amazing and trustworthy, is professional, attentive, very well prepared; he’s the real deal. He guided us through moments of uncertainty, making us feel safe and confident of ourselves. Never was there a moment of danger nor disrespect. It was a blessing to have such an awesome and humble human being as our professor. Lots of things I learned, transformed, let go, let in, but it all comes down to one simple thing: live the present fully conscious, Now. Yoga is not only asanas, it’s a holistic lifestyle. We can do yoga anytime, anywhere. Thanks to George and the beautiful human beings that were part of this experience. I’m blessed and grateful for all the love, learning, and transformation. I will keep on sharing the knowledge and upgrading myself. May we all be happy and loving yogis. Let’s keep on flowing!!

“I just finished my 200Hrs Yoga Teacher Training. If you want to have a powerful connection with your mind, body and spirit through practice and meditation then the answer is George’s YTTC program! This is a reputable school and member of the YOGA Alliance. All the curriculum offered is suitable for everyone’s needs. George Anthony is expert, experienced and knowledgeable of the course. His dedication, patience and different styles/techniques in teaching is remarkable.

I love all kinds of Vegan foods they prepare for us. Always mouth watering with overflowing fruits.

We have a powerful, strong and dynamic group. All of us became close friends, challenging and supporting each other. We have the same individual attention and feedback from George. I will always miss the whole group.

As a beginner of Yoga, I learned a lot of things, especially meditation, breathing techniques, different styles of Asanas, yoga anatomy, kriyas, mantras, etc. Special activities were also present during weekends e.g. Kirtan, Capoeira, Acroyoga and various workshops done by other amazing teachers which is a plus in this course.

Overall the experience I had is life changing. It was serious, intense, tiring, challenging, a lot of sweating, going beyond your limit but it never breaks you. The feeling of inner peace, stillness, worry less and confidence is within me. It transformed me physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I am more compassionate, kind, mindful and aware of the people, animals and nature around me. It was an amazing and fun journey that I will never forget. Until next..As George Anthony said: No expectations, only highest hopes and dreams; Trust the Universe ” -Namaste
