HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M READY FOR THE FITNESS AND YOGA CLASSES?
You can do it! We know sometimes it can be intimidating entering a gym space if you aren’t super experienced, but rest assured we are here to support you all the way.
Our retreat guests have a mix of experience and abilities and we create a supportive environment where we can all learn and grow together. Don’t be put off by limiting beliefs like "I’m not fit enough" - remember, you have to walk before you can run!
Our classes are designed to give you the techniques to create a personalised workout for your body. So regardless of your level of fitness, you will have the support and guidance you need to workout safely while still making sure you challenge yourself.
Our yoga classes follow a similar format with challenges suitable for all levels.
Don’t worry if you’re not an experienced yogi. We will walk you through the basics of a home yoga practice - guiding you through the core movements and sun salutations, always offering more challenging variations for those who need it.
In fact, you’ll even learn enough of the basics to continue a personal practice at home, after the retreat!
Any limitations or injuries will be supported and accommodated - if you’d like to chat to our training team before the retreat just get in touch!
TAKING 5 DAYS AWAY FROM MY OTHER COMMITMENTS WILL BE DIFFICULT TO MANAGE. HOW CAN I JUSTIFY THE TIME?
Sometime the only way to see clearly, is to stop, backup, and allow space and distance for clarity.
The time you invest in this life changing retreat will equip you with tools you need to work in more of a flow state – working from a place of joy and inspiration, moving away from the common motivations of fear and stress.
The techniques you will learn on this 5-day course will enable you to work more effectively towards your goals, rather than working tirelessly for little reward. We aim to help you see that creating your dream life can be an enjoyable process and doesn't have to be a such draining, tough work.
While we encourage you to dive fully into the retreat without distractions, we will support you if there are any commitments you need to uphold. The Tipi has very strong wifi and there will be regular breaks and free time each day where you can check emails/complete any tasks you need to.
On our retreat you will be surrounded by a group of peers, working towards similar goals which will create an environment of creativity and momentum. You will help you reset your habits, learn skills and techniques to become the best version of yourself which will enable you to be more impactful in your day to day life.

I hear you, I used to be wary of people who lived with the abundance mindset. I associated desiring money with greed and commercialism, I thought that to live in abundance you would have to sacrifice your values at some point. Changing my perspective on this has been a game changer and I want to help you reach that point too!
At The Tipi, we want to help people with dreams to make the world a better place, in their own unique way. And if that is your goal, and having more financial freedom helps you help more people, then helping you get there faster can only be a good thing - right?

There are others more in need of money than me. Why should I want more?
Firstly, let’s get one thing straight - you having financial freedom does not take it away from other people. The goal of this retreat isn’t to make you rich, but to help you identify and remove limiting beliefs about money, inviting it to flow more freely in your life, and allow you to help lots of people doing what you love.
It is good to be grateful for everything you have, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see that having money flow more easily will benefit you. We want to help you reframe your mindset – money is energy, and energy is constantly flowing and changing.
We want you to be open to accepting that energy flow and understand that if your goals and dreams are to help others, and having a better cash flow helps you do that more effectively then setting intention to invite more money into your life is not greedy.
The workshops on our retreat are designed to help you remove limiting beliefs around money and reintroduce it as a helpful tool which can be used to support you in reaching your dreams and in turn, helping other people.
We truly believe that equipping more people who have good intentions with an abundant mindset will help make the world a better place!
WHY SHOULD I GET IN SHAPE? ISN’T IT FOR MEAT HEADS?
Getting in shape isn’t just a vanity thing - when your body is in peak physical condition, energy can flow freely and you gain better clarity of mind.
You don’t need to be lifting weights and flexing in front of a mirror, but wouldn’t you like to be comfortable knowing you are moving your body safely and have the techniques to work your body to its fullest potential?
I myself abandoned fitness at one period of my life, focusing only on mindfulness practices, thinking fitness was solely for the physical and vanity. It became clear, as the benefits of exercise began to wear off, that the results are MUCH MORE than physical - in fact the biggest benefits lie in the lifestyle and mindset results.
Now I put fitness back on the top shelf as one of my main tools of transformation and personal power!
Inviting fitness into your life, in the way we use it at the tipi, will bring you more health, internal fire, focus, confidence, happiness, and even playfulness!
WILL I HAVE TO SACRIFICE MY HAPPINESS FOR SUCCESS?

I always used to believe I had to keep on pushing in order to get things done, but I’ve realised that taking a step back, finding balance and ease in my life really helps me achieve the balance I need to work effectively.
I find I magnetise at a HUGE level when I’m in my flow state and the workshops on this retreat are designed to help you do the same.
Is yoga only for women?
No! Definitely not. Yoga is for everybody - it is a tool to help gain clarity and stillness of the mind through control of your body. A common misconception is that yoga is only for women or flexible people.
In fact most of the yoga postures we are familiar with were created for and practiced almost exclusively by men. It’s only in the last few decades that yoga has become popularised by women as it became introduced to the western world.
Yoga is a tool for any individual excited to accept more clarity, control, and peace of mind in their life.
If stiffness or lack of flexibility is something you want to improve on, then yoga is precisely what you need. Many of the world's strongest athletes practice yoga as a technique to help release after a tough work out and to invite a sense of calm and clarity. In fact, I originally sought yoga ½ for mindfulness, and 1/2 for jui jitsu mobility!
I practiced so many different training modalities including bodybuilding and martial arts and I truly believe yoga combined with a more intense physical workout is the perfect combination to help you achieve peak physical and mental state.
We have both male and female instructors here and we always include variations as everybody is unique!
I haven’t really meditated before - will I struggle with the workshops?
You don’t need any experience of meditation to attend our retreat, we are here to support you all the way! Meditation is an invaluable tool which will help you achieve clarity of mind and learn to tune in to your true passions.
Successful people from all walks of life use meditation practices to help them towards achieving their goals.
If it helps you to feel prepared, perhaps you can try a beginners meditation practice via Youtube or Headspace app to begin.
HOW DO THE PHYSICAL PRACTICES SUPPORT ME TOWARDS ACHIEVING MY DREAMS?
Being the best version of yourself isn’t just a mindset – feeling good in your body invites a confidence that will carry through into all areas of your life! Your body is a vessel of energy, and that energy needs to flow. We will teach you techniques to harness your energy – learning to tune in and listen to what your body really needs.
We will share physical and breathwork practices that you can utilise to increase energy when you need more drive, or invite stillness when you are in a state of stress.
Our classes are focused on mindful movement – connecting body, mind and soul, and this will help you tune in to your passions and work more clearly towards them, leading you into a blissful state.
I thought yoga was a physical workout. Why do we need both fitness and yoga classes?
Although there are physical postures in yoga, it is a common misconception in the western world that it is a fitness practice. Yoga is primarily a mindfulness practice - the purpose of these physical postures is to help the body relax in order to achieve deeper states of meditation.
While it is still an incredibly beneficial practice for your body, my experience has shown me there is still a need for a balance of intense physical practices to help you get in peak physical condition.
If you expect the same mindset and physical results from practicing yoga versus fitness, you will probably be bored or find it too soft. I see yoga as a tool to find harmony within yourself, to coordinate intellect, mind and body. tIt is a practice that brings peace and allow us to find stability.
It’s hard for me to commit to a regular fitness practice. How will you help me get in better habits once the retreat is over?
Physical achievement is a big domain where your relationship with committing to do something is being challenged.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Our retreat workshops are designed to help you build beneficial habits that you will want to keep for the rest of your life.
Together we will transform your relationship with fitness from pain in the ass to something that will be both challenging and rewarding.
I’ve had injuries and I’m afraid to overdo it. Can you help me overcome this?
Absolutely. We are here to help you listen to your body and our teachers value this self-attention very highly. Coming to understand your own body is vital to a safe practice - it is as important as the dough is to a pizza!
Our teachers are highly experienced and here to help - just let us know about your specific injury and we will make sure we give alternative options which will be safe, whilst still working up a sweat.
I’m lazy. I can’t see the path of motivation even though i pursue the benefits of this healthy habit. Can you motivate me?
Yes! You are already on that path. It is no coincidence that you are reading these FAQs right now. You already have the desire to jump on that lifestyle. Desire is the first step - identify. How will meditation support me towards achieving my dreams?
It will help by removing polluting ideas that don’t benefit your growth. When your mind is in a calm state, inspiration is a daily occurrence and decision making becomes sharper.
The meditation will help you clarify your thoughts bringing calmness in your daily life.
I’m not very flexible - will the yoga classes be beyond my reach?
Definitely not! It’s understandable in these times of Instagram Yogis that some people perceive yoga as a practice reserved only for the most flexible people but this is definitely not the case. Yoga is a practice for everyone.
There is no ‘perfect posture’ in yoga and each body is unique meaning we each find our own limits in different positions. Yoga will definitely help you become more flexible and our teachers are here to help you find the variation that works for your body.
I’m pretty unfit at the moment - will I struggle with the fitness classes?

Money doesn’t make people happy - why should I want more of it?
You’re 100% correct. Money does not make people happy. What does make people happy is living a life aligned with their passions and goals, especially when that involves helping others.
